Welding Shop Engineering Tech Support Associate

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

[ Body Shop Process Management]

• Associate degree in Welding or related experience
• Proficiency in robotic welding, weld controls  
• Preferred experience with various manufacturing processes such as welding or brazing
• Experience and knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards (PFMEA, control plan, etc.)
• Follow the policies or procedures of HMGMA.

[ Plant construction and Preparation for new model production]

• Performs production preparation work related to the input of new models.
• Oversee, inspect and manage new model project progress.
• Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document.

Qualifications and Preferences

Minimum:

• Associate degree (Welding) or related work experience
• Proficiency in robotic welding, weld controls
• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications.
• Knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposals.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company-approved sponsorship for this position now or in the future.

Education / Personnel / Organization Management:

• Follow the training policies or procedures of HMGMA.
• Build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
• Cooperate in strengthening organizational power through communication and active exchanges among employees.

Preferred:

• 2+ years of job-related experience.
• Job experience related to the automotive industry.

Travel Requirement

• Domestic / International travel required.

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement
