Electrical Vehicle Professional (EVP) Technical Certificate of Credit
HMGMA has partnered with four technical colleges in the greater Savannah area to offer the Electrical Vehicle Professional (EVP) Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC). The certificate program was designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in the electric vehicle production industry. The training focuses on safe and effective automotive shop operations, automotive electrical principles, and the operation and service of electric vehicles. Graduation of the EVP TCC is the first step in the path to a production career at the plant.
Students who successfully complete the program will be preferred for employment at HMGMA and will start at a more advanced wage than entry-level employees. All applicants are still required to meet all employment qualifications.
This is an 8-credit-hour certificates that includes 3 courses:
- Automotive Technology Introduction
- Automotive Electrical Principles
- Introduction to EV/Hybrid Vehicles and Safety Protocols
