Welding Production Assistant Manager

What You Will Do:

• Direct multiple Group Leaders and their respective teams.
• Manage and lead problem solving and countermeasure activities.
• Undertake special assignments as required by management.
• Ensure all Team Members perform to HMGMA policies and procedures.
• Perform time input and other administrative tasks as required.
• Develop, train and retain a high-quality workforce.
• Maintain a pro-Team member environment
• Administer, coordinate and comply with all Business Management Systems, Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Meet all other requirements as assigned.
• Review and manage the construction progress of the welding shop.
• Performs production preparation work related to the input of new models.
• Analyze production data and quality data at the beginning of production, improve the issue, stabilize, and document.

What You Will Bring To The table:

• 3+ Years of management/ supervisory experience
• High School Degree or GED required
• Bachelor's degree or related experience
• Experience using Microsoft Office products or equivalent applications
• Knowledge and experience in data analysis and developing proposal
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and must not require company-approved sponsorship for this position now or in the future
• Follow the training policies or procedures of HMGMA
• Build and maintain a good rapport with other manufacturing units for effective communication.
• Cooperate in strengthening organizational power through communication and active exchanges among employees
• Job experience related to the automotive industry
• Knowledge of Robots
•  Experience with joining process (welding, sealing, rivet) a plus

Travel Requirement

• Domestic / International travel required.
