HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.

 

  • Manages all administrative aspects of disability leaves to include tracking hours used/taken and working closely with the payroll team to ensure that pay for Meta Pro’s is accurate and correct.
  • Manages FMLA and STD/LTD programs and vendor relationships.
  • Partners closely with HR and Managers on FMLA, STD, and LTD topics and cases.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert for the HMGMA Medical Leave and Disability programs in alignment and under the general direction and guidance of HR leadership.
  • Works closely with Meta Pros to ensure that all relevant completed medical documentation is submitted to the vendor for timely review.
  • Maintains appropriate contact with all Meta Pros on leave and coordinates all aspects of return to work for associates on medical leave.
  • Serve as liaison between HMGMA contracted Health and Welfare Benefits providers and HMGMA team members.
  • Processes benefits enrollments and terminations for all full-time employees that include health/ dental/vision insurances, short/long term disability, 401k retirement, COBRA and any future offerings.
  • Monitors government regulations, legislation, and benefits trends
  • Communicate, educate, and train all levels of management and employees on Health and Welfare Benefit matters.
  • Assist in developing benefits policies, processes, and guidelines.
  • Maintain proper document filing and documentation.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Preferences

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 3+ years of benefits experience and/or payroll management
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Experience working with HR trends, labor legislation, compensation programs and Georgia income taxes.
  • ADP experience

Preferred:

  • Job related experience in Automotive Industry
  • SAP experience

 

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.

 

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement

  • Employment opportunities at HMGMA will be completed in multiple phases.
