About HMGMA  

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied. 

 

The General Affairs Administrative Specialist is responsible for supporting all activities related to Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. This position will also support other divisions of Human Resources and Administration as needed and as assigned.  

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Maintains a pro-team member environment and learns, demonstrates, and upholds the Core Values of HMGMA.  

  • Performs special assignments as assigned by management.  

  • Consistently meets company safety goals.  

  • Reports to GA Manager and Assistant Manager 

 

Initiative:  

  • Identifies problems and acts in light of this identification to address the problem and any possible future problems.  

  • Motivates team members through clear and consistent communication. 

  • Develops trust in all relationships internally and externally.  

 

Office Environment:  

  • Establish an office environment (ordering furniture, office supplies, etc.)  

  • Manage janitorial vendor.  

  • Procurement of all office supplies 

  • Assists with coordinator of company events and activities. 

  • Expatriates support: 

  • Temporary apartment lease contract and management  

  • Support related to school admission for children. 

  • Administrative procedures for obtaining SSN or driver’s licenses. 

  • Mobile phone plant review and payment 

  • Interpreting and translating written material as necessary  

  • Distributes daily mail and overnight packages. 

 

 

Qualifications & Preferences 

Minimum: 

  • Minimum +1 years of relevant years of experience  

  • Bachelor’s degree required. 

  • Valid Driver’s License Required 

  • Flexibility for working hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays as required.  

 

Competency Based:  

  • Displays knowledge and skills necessary to perform assigned duties, understands process, procedures, standards, methods, and technology related to assignments.  

  • Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word experience required. 

  • SAP experience is preferred.  

 

Travel Requirement 

  • Domestic / International travel required. 

 

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement 

  • Employment opportunities at HMGMA will be completed in multiple phases.
