Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to create all process steps of the quality process with regards to action management and repairs to identify sources of quality issues

 

  • Oversee and manage ongoing operation, monitor and evaluate staff performance
  • Monitor and report of VPC vehicle inspection quality results according to QM/Plant defined standards and report requirements. Regular communication with MBC Manufacturing facilities to understand quality of vehicles as they leave the manufacturing facility, enter the transportation chain, and ultimately arrive at the respective VPC facilities.
  • Assist VPC action process (action parts determination and inventory monitoring, work instruction/flash software clarification/monitoring).
  • Identify, analyse, and report of vehicle quality trends by reviewing and utilizing various quality sources (VPC audit results, warranty data, plant quality data, Dealer PDI, VPC quality inspection results).
  • Implement and upkeep of complete VPC standard work instruction process (SWI) with consideration of current quality topics as well as VPC inspection time capacities.
  • Assist VPC quality inspection process and process changes by providing SME support to VPC staff as needed.
  • Tasks for purchasing VPC equipment and facilities (POR/Spec/Brief meeting/Compare/Quote)
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Preferences

  • Bachelor’s Degree (accredited school) or equivalent work experience with emphasis in automotive quality control, automotive technology, statistical analysis, quality assurance
  • Minimum 5-10 years of related job experience (1-3 years of project managing, people managing experience)
  • Years of experience from Automotive industry preferred
  • Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
  • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of the practical application .of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement
