Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

[Employer Branding & Employee Engagement]

  • As the person in charge of body/paint quality control, conducting activities in charge of quality inspection and improvement activities of BIW, BIP, supplier’s parts, and conducting activities to identify new vehicle projects analysis of BIW and BIP to ensure its high quality and conformity to international standards

 

 Recruitment] Duties include but not limited to the following:

 

  • [Quality Inspection]
    • Establishment of Operation Plan to ensure quality, (Field claim analysis, In-Line defects analysis, Management for supplier, Part inspection)

[Improvement]

    • Analysis of the cause of the BIW/BIP problem, improvement activities, and preparation and implementation of quality meetings
  • [Facility Management]
    • Quality facility/equipment management, investment cost execution/ management, supplementary investment establishment
  • [Human resources]
    • Fostering inspectors and personnel and hiring/arranging personnel
  • [Budget Management]
    • Establishment and execution management of necessary budget
  • [External Task]
    • Preparation, consultation, and coordination of external events
  • [New vehicle]
    • Participation in new vehicle projects (preparation for inspection, establishment of quality securing plan, and response to evaluation)

 

[Others]

  • Develop recruitment planning to meet the recruitment target
  • Oversee and manage ongoing operation, monitor and evaluate staff performance.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of processes and quality management systems.
  • Conduct monitoring of vehicle faults.
  • Ensure the adequacy of relevant procedures and computerized systems in accordance to reference standards and applicable legal requirements.
  • Plan, control and monitor the corrective actions of quality non-conformity detected in audits. Prepare reports and publish timelines in order to provide feedback and improve the management system through technical support.
  • Answer for certifications of the company regarding the product.
  • Make certification planning and keep track of them in order to meet the market's demands.
  • Generate reports on troubleshooting.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned
  • Establish an annual operation plan. Establish an annual budget plan.
  • Develop a training plan to improve employees' skills.
     

Qualifications & Preferences

Minimum:

  • More than 8 years of related job experience (Quality of automotive)
  • Experience in managing more than 4 team members.
  • Ability to understand drawing and specifications of electrical, mechanical systems.
  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred

  • More than 5 year’s mechanical experience in major automotive industry in US
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3D scanner measurement capabilities

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.

 

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement
