Quality Assurance Test Assistant Manager

HMGMA is the abbreviation of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America. It is Hyundai Motor Group's first dedicated EV mass-production plant and is an innovative plant with cutting-edge production technology applied.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Key player in implementation and management of the Quality Management System
• Support Quality Management Representative through Internal Audits.
• Provide technical support and training in the Material Testing & Tool Calibration sections.
• Evaluate department processes; recommend process and product improvements.
• Handle customer complaints and resolutions
• Maintain EV Efficiency and Environmental Chamber Testing processes.
• Review EV Models certifications and maintain records.
• Conduct product testing and first article and final inspections when needed.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, certification bodies and governmental agencies regarding quality and compliance issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.
• Collaborate with management to set quality goals and objectives and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Continuously improve the testing and evaluation process to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferences

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree of higher
• Advance Metrology Skills.  Efficient operation and knowledge of Dynamometer and Environmental chamber operations
• Knowledge of automotive systems, including EV, chassis, and electronic systems.
• Ability to understand, read and establish fluent technical English conversations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Great problem definition and problem solution tool application

Preferred:

• Experience with projects that encouraged participation in related departments.

Travel Requirement

• Domestic / International travel required.
