Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

[Position Summary]

  • Primarily responsible for the oversight and management of Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America, Inc. Metaplant Construction Project
  • Manage civil construction companies and civil engineering companies on owner side.
  • Planning the proper construction schedule and Civil specifications according to HMGMA`s standard.
  • Responsible for technical and economic construction management activities to meet design and construction requirements.
  • After the completion of construction, responsible for maintenance of road and civil performing management work such as road repairs and civil and the extended or modified structure of the building, if required.

[General Management]

  • Prioritize objectives and implement strategies to achieve company initiatives and oversee development and achievement of them across the organization.
  • Drive collaboration across the organization to identify needs and develop scalable solutions.
  • Develop civil plans and associated projects in all stages: setting materials, techniques, methodologies, analyzing data and information, and developing technical financial feasibility studies.
  • Responsible for supervising construction companies at the construction site.
  • Meet all other requirements as assigned.

 

Qualifications & Preferences

Minimum:

  • More than 5 years construction or engineering experience as site manager or engineer
  • Experience in managing more than 30 team members.
  • Experience with construction related documentation, submittals, drawings, reports, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations.
  • Microsoft Office experience (Word, Outlook, Excel) and AutoCAD.
  • Exceptional leadership, time management, project management, decision-making, and critical thinking skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related area

Preferred:

  • More than 5 years construction or engineering experience in an industrial field in the US
  • Experience with industrial construction and maintenance on owner side
  • Civil engineer certification.

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel required.

 

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement
