     HMGMA (Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America) IT Business & Security team is responsible for rolling out HMGMA use cases based on Site Reliability Engineering & IT Security.   The use case environments include IT security, Change point management, IT incident tracking & management, and IT business planning at HMGMA.  Key goals include increased production output, world class product quality, and faster set-up/ramp-up of HMGMA production system.

     We are looking for a Manufacturing IT Business & Security Engineer who can undertake/lead the immense challenge of supporting next-generation EV IT Business and Security technology.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT strategies, plans, and initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Work closely with IT SRE role to design, build, and maintain resilient and efficient IT systems and services.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of IT security policies, procedures, and controls to organization assets and data.
  • Participate in IT incident response activities, including root cause identification, analysis, and resolution of the incident and vulnerabilities.
  • Utilize UX development experience to enhance user interfaces and experiences across IT systems and applications.
  • Continue to learn and apply relevant software development practices, tools, and technologies.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in IT planning, operation, SRE, and security.

 

Qualifications & Preference

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience in UX development is preferred.
  • Strong interested in IT planning, operations, SRE, and security, with a willingness to learn and grow in these areas.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to details  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Some familiarity with visualization tools like Grafana or Prometheus 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written 
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects with complex requirements.

Travel Requirement

  • Domestic / International travel may be required
